MARION, Ind. - No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan Men's Basketball gained another victory on the season after defeating Mount Vernon Nazarene University for the Caleb Dimmich Alumni game with a final score of 100-91. Javan Buchanan secured a double-double and was the top scorer for the Wildcats on the day with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Caedmon Bontrager also tallied a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds.

WHAT HAPPENED

• IWU began a 6-0 run with 12 minutes to go to take a nine-point lead entering the second half with a scoreline of 53-44.
• A run from MVNU at the start of the second half saw the Cougars tie the game before IWU broke for a 10-point lead with 9 minutes to go in the second half.
• IWU maintained their lead for the remainder of the game and was victorious with a final score of 100-91. 

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 5: Five Wildcats scored double digits against MVNU (Buchanan, Bontrager, Childress, Kliewer, Ankney). 
• 43: IWU out-rebounded MVNU with 43 rebounds to the Cougar's  23.
