Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

NO. 23 MEN’S SOCCER FALLS SHORT AGAINST NORTHWESTERN OHIO

LIMA, Ohio - No. 23 Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer had a comeback rolling in the second half, but came up short against the University of Northwestern Ohio with a final score of 4-3. After going down three goals in the first half, the Wildcats found some rhythm, scoring all three IWU goals in the second half. Sophomore Cole Little was the first to get on the board for the Wildcats in the 46th minute for his second goal of the season. Sophomore Brandon Nyagurungo scored his fourth goal of the season in the 64th minute, along with senior Winter Cassius getting his second goal of the season in the 68th minute. After a tough battle, the Wildcats will travel to Lansing, Michigan to play Great Lake Christian on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

  • The Wildcats went into the half trailing after UNOH put up three goals, making the score 3-0.
  • Sophomore Cole Little got his second goal of the season in the right side of the goal at the start of the second half (46th minute). 
  • IWU bounced back after another UNOH goal with sophomore Brandon Nyagurungo's fourth goal of the season in the 64th minute, making the score 4-2.
  • Senior Winter Cassius tallied on his second goal of the season in the 68th minute to make it 4-3 with 22 minutes to go.
