WYOMING, Mich. - No. 23 Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer dominated away from home against Great Lakes Christian. An abundance of goals in the first half allowed the Wildcats to take charge with a three-goal lead at 4-1, finishing the game doubled at 8-1. With a powerful victory on the road, the IWU will travel to Bourbonnais, Illinois to face Olivet Nazarene on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

WHAT HAPPENED

• A quick goal from senior Giuseppe Santacroce in the 5th minute started the Wildcat offense off strong.
• Goals in the 19th and 59th minute gave senior Winter Cassius a goal in each half, putting him at four goals on the season.
• Sophomore Brandon Nyagurungo scored two goals in two minutes with one in the 31st minute and the 33rd minute, totaling six goals in his second season.
• Sophomore Cole Little scored in the 51st minute after a good pass from Brandon Nyagurungo.
• Junior Taha Houssni scored his fourth goal of the season in the 87th minute on a solo run.
• A penalty in the 89th minute saw junior Jared Wiltheiss score his first goal from the spot.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 28: The Wildcat attack shot the ball 28 times against GLCU, with 18 shot attempts in the first half.
• 8: Aaron Carr had eight saves on the day to keep the GLCU attack to only one on the day.
• 5: Five of the eight goals scored by the IWU attack were unassisted.
