SYKES SEALS THE WIN

Moments after Luke Bays stopped a two-point conversion attempt, ensuring the Wildcats stayed in front at Saint Xavier, Sykes snagged a pass out of the air on the 26-yard line for an interception. With only 1:13 to play, IWU managed to run out the clock in the one-point victory.

WHAT TO WATCH

  • Both teams have been known to put points on the board. Roosevelt has averaged 40 points per game in the team's two victories. Additionally, both programs have showcased strong defenses.
  • In front of a home crowd, look to the IWU defense to slow down a high-octane offense.
  • On the offensive side of the ball, the Wildcats have several options. Whether it's on the ground or through the air, watch for IWU to attack quickly and efficiently while putting points on the board.
