RIO GRANDE, Ohio - A nail-biter against No. 4 ranked University of Rio Grande led to an Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer win on Saturday, their third in a row. Sophomore Jose Garcia scored his third goal of the season in the 60th minute, which was the only goal necessary to finish the game 1-0. With another chance of finding themselves ranked once again, the Wildcats will go home after 5 straight games away to face Rochester University on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

WHAT HAPPENED

• After the first half, IWU and URG were tied at 0-0, with only a handful of chances available for the Wildcats before the second half.
• Sophomore Jose Garcia scored in the 60th minute to get IWU the win in a tight game.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 10: Ten saves were tallied for Aaron Carr today keeping the back line and himself busy and efficient.
• 9: The Wildcats began to gain an attack in the second half with 9 shots compared to their 3 in the first.
• 2: Three different players shot the ball twice today (Trey Denigan, Cole Little, Parker Stewart), finding multiple people to contribute to the attack on the day.

• "Tonight was a fantastic team effort from top to bottom to beat #4 on the road," said Matt Reeb, Head Men's Soccer Coach. "We had several regular starters out tonight and some players step into those roles and played fantastic. I am so proud of those guys and the team!"
