GOSHEN, IND. - No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball extended their win streak to eleven with wwin over Goshen on Friday evening. After a close first set where IWU won 25-21, the Wildcats dominated the final two sets winning by fourteen and thirteen points on their way to a 3-0 sweep

MATCH ONE VITALS

• The Wildcats took an early lead in set one, leading 8-2 before a Goshen timeout. IWU continued to dominate after the timeout, taking a 17-10 lead before forcing another Maple Leaf timeout. Goshen battled back pulling within one point at 20-19. However, Indiana Wesleyan was able to pull out the victory 25-21.
• Trailing 4-2 in the second set, IWU rattled off 13 straight points to take a 15-4 advantage, eventually winning the set 25-11.
• Goshen kept the third set close through 14 points, trailing only by 2 at 8-6. A 14-2 Wildcat run put IWU in control to finish off the sweep 25-12.
• Eva Joldersma paced the offense with 16 kills with a blistering .609 hit percentage.
• Rebekah Sergent had 3 aces.
• Abbigail Porter had a team high 35 assists.
• Cadee Notter led IWU with 9 digs.

MOATS PERSPECTIVE

• "Tonight was a good win for the team,"  said Head Coach Candace Moats. "I was proud of the players who got a chance to play!  They did great!!"

LOOKING FORWARD

• The Wildcats stay on the road for a Top-15 matchup with Bethel tomorrow at 3 p.m.
