MARION, Ind. - No. 20 Indiana Wesleyan softball returned to Sue Bowman field from their 14-game road trip on Tuesday evening for a doubleheader against Spring Arbor. The Wildcat defense held the Cougars to just one hit in Game 1 to earn the 5-0 shutout. IWU's offense poured on eight runs with no outs in the first innings to spark a 12-0 win in Game 2.
Jennah Yost broke the program record for career stolen bases with her 137th bag in 178 games played. The squad has won 20 of their last 22 games and is peaking at the right time of year.

- Alyssa Wagner threw 11 strikeouts in her complete-game shutout. She leads the Crossroads League with 150 this year.
- IWU overwhelmed SAU early and took an 8-0 lead with 0 outs in the 1st inning.
- Julianne Bell capped off the run with a grand slam, her second home run of the season.
- The Wildcats added three more in the 2nd inning and the game was lopsided early.

- The Wildcats conclude their regular season with a doubleheader against Huntington on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
