GEORGETOWN, Ky. - No. 16 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball won the programs 15th NAIA Championship game Tuesday, defeating  MidAmerica Nazarene 78-70. IWU led for 32:42 minutes of the game and led by as much as 11.

WHAT HAPPENED

• MNU would take advantage of IWU's scoreless streak of four minutes and 30-seconds, going on a 10-0 run. MNU would lead by three after the first media timeout.
• IWU would match their run with an 11-2 run of their own, going from trailing to a four-point lead with five minutes left in the first half. 
• IWU netted 10 more bench points than MidAmerica Nazarene, with the Pioneers not scoring any bench points untill there was six minutes left in the game.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 18 - how many boards IWU grabbed compared to the Pioneers, third most in a game this season
• 13 - the most offensive rebounds grabbed by the Wildcats in 11 games
• 9 - the most steals in 12 games for IWU
