MARION, Ind. - No. 13 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball completed the season sweep of Taylor University Wednesday, while also making it 26 straight over Taylor. IWU bested Taylor 71-65, making it the closest game between programs since February 12, 2013 when IWU won by just three.

WHAT HAPPENED

• IWU jumped out to a quick 7-0 run to start the game, forcing a quick Taylor timeout. It was 14-4 after five minutes of play. The Wildcats were a perfect 6-for-6 through the first media timeout.
• Indiana Wesleyan doubled up Taylor in the paint, scoring 32 points compared to TU's 18.
• IWU outshot TU from the free throw line, shooting 17-of-20, while TU shot 4-of-9. Their four made free throws is the second-lowest in a game this season for the Trojans. 
• Taylor has struggled from deep, shooting 21% tonight and 20% last Saturday.
