SEASON-HIGH 104 POINTS LEADS WBB PAST HUNTINGTON IN CROSSROADS LEAGUE QUARTERFINALS

MARION, Ind. – No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball began their journey in the Crossroads League Tournament on Tuesday night with a matchup against Huntington. The Wildcats reached their highest point total of the season and cruised past the Foresters, 104-72. IWU advances to the semifinal round of the tournament and will take on the University of Saint Francis on Friday night in Luckey Arena.

  • IWU established their inside game early after attempting just 3 three-pointers and taking a 26-17 lead after the 1st quarter.
  • The Wildcats poured in 30 points in the 2nd quarter after forcing 9 Huntington turnovers to take a 56-30 lead at halftime.
  • Huntington held the scoring advantage in the 3rd, but Indiana Wesleyan still held a 79-58 lead after the 3rd.
  • A three-pointer from Ashleigh Mader gave IWU their highest point total of the season with 104.
