FORT WAYNE, IND. - On Friday the Indiana Wesleyan Men's Bowling team took on the first Crossroads event of the year. They started out very strong, sitting in second place for the majority of the day. Sophomore Tym Hofer was fantastic as he made his first career all tournament team, Placing 4th with a 845 series for 4 games. The rest of the day was a complete grind as the entire field struggled. The Wildcats ended up settling for a third place finish. Which is the highest conference finish in program history. On Saturday the Wildcat men took on the second Crossroads tournament of the year. It was a slow start for the Wildcats, sitting in 6th place after the 4 qualifying games. The team was lead by juniors Chris Mace and Shea Miller, both grabbing top 15 individual finishes. The Wildcats really found their groove during the 16 baker games. Scratching their way to a 4th place finish.

- "Overall I'm very proud of the way the guys bowled on Friday. The conditions were tough and they really responded to the grind and never backed down. There are still some things to clean up and that will be another massive step forward. But I believe we proved we are in the top tier of our conference. And I really believe the guys are starting to believe as well. Saturday was really a grind for us. There were some mechanical problems at the center we were at and that really threw a lot off. And to add on top of that this was the first time we have went back to back all year. I was impressed with the way the guys bounced back after a rough start and stayed together and battled. Even if it wasn't the result we wanted I believe we learned a lot and will take those lessons into the second half of the season."
- The Wildcats will travel to Fort Wayne for AHBA #5 on January 20th.
