CHANDLER, Ariz. - No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball played their first game of the Cactus Classic this afternoon against No. 10 Vanguard. The Lions were the third Top-10 opponent for the Wildcats this season. Lillie Frasure highlighted the day with her first double-double of the season. IWU improved to 10-1 overall after today's 67-49 victory with one game left in Arizona before a break for Christmas.

• Frasure scored 7 of the Wildcats' 16 first quarter points as they took a four-point lead.
• IWU took a 36-25 halftime lead as they shot 56.3% from the field in the second quarter
• Vanguard was held to just 9 points in the 3rd quarter on 3-13 shooting as the Indiana Wesleyan lead grew to 17 points.
• The Wildcats cruised in the 4th quarter for the 67-49 victory.
