SIOUX CITY, IA. - No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball defeated the defending national champions on Saturday, taking down No. 9 University of Jamestown in four sets. The Wildcats advance to the NAIA Semifinals for the first time in program history.

MATCH VITALS

• The teams traded points early in the first set with Jamestown evening to set at 11. UJ scored the next 2 points and used the advantage to take set one 25-23.
• The Jimmies looked to take control of the match early in set two, taking a 5-1 lead. The Wildcats used an 10-3 run to take the lead and a Martina Demarchi kill ended a Jamestown comeback attempt.
• UJ again took an early lead in set three, extending their lead to 7-3 early. A 9 point IWU run gave Indiana Wesleyan a lead the would never relent, only allowing 4 points the rest of the match and winning 25-18.
• IWU took an early lead in set four and maintained their lead for the entire set.
