SIOUX CITY, IA. - No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball overcame an early 2-1 deficit to No. 14 IU Kokomo, completing the comeback with a 15-8 fifth set victory. The Wildcats advance to the NAIA Quarterfinals for just the second time in program history.

MATCH VITALS

• IWU took a 7-2 lead to force a quick timeout from the Cougars. An 11-2 run put the Wildcats in control of the set, however a late run from IUK pulled the C0ugars within 4 before a Martina Demarchi kill gave IWU a 25-20 win.
• IUK dominated the second set, leading by as many as 14 points at 24-10. IU Kokomo would win the set 25-13.
• The teams battled throughout the third set, IWU tied the set at 23 before taking a 1 point lead on a Marissa Mullins kill, but IUK scored three straight to steal the set 26-24.
• With their season on the line the Wildcats began to find momentum, taking an 11-6 lead early in the fourth set. A 4-1 run from the Cougars forced an IWU timeout, but the WIldcats prevailed with a 25-20 win.
• IWU seized control of the match in their first fifth set of the season, taking a 10-3 lead. The Cougars used a 5-2 run to force a timeout, but back to back points from Marta Zambetti and Martina Demarchi finished the come from behind victory.
