HUNTINGTON, Ind. - No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan women's soccer secured their fifth win in a row on Wednesday after defeating Huntington University away from home 1-0. After four close shots on goal in the first half, the Wildcats found the only goal of the game with a great pass from Jackie Norris to junior Macy Browning to score her third goal of the season in the 71st minute.

IWU turns their focus to Saturday as they host No. 2-ranked Spring Arbor. Both teams come into the match tied at the top of the standings with the winner taking home the Crossroads League regular season championship.

WHAT HAPPENED

• IWU and Huntington ended the first half with a stalemate, 0-0.
• Jackie Norris found Macy Browning after a great run and found her shot to bounce off the Huntington goalkeeper and into the back of the net in the 71st minute.

• 16: The Wildcat attack was sharp with 16 shots compared to Huntington's 4 shots. 
• 4: Freshman Goalkeeper Avery Sluss tucked away four saves on the day to close out the clean sheet along with a strong Wildcat defense.

• "This was such a great team win tonight," said Macy Browning. "We've worked so hard to get to this point, taking the season one game at a time. We've put ourselves in such a great position, and that's a testament to the entire team! I'm so proud of the 29! Now, we get back to work tomorrow!"

• IWU will go back home to face #2 Spring Arbor University on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
