Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

NO. 7 WOMEN’S SOCCER CHOPS DOWN FORESTERS, 1-0

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan women's soccer secured their fifth win in a row on Wednesday after defeating Huntington University away from home 1-0. After four close shots on goal in the first half, the Wildcats found the only goal of the game with a great pass from Jackie Norris to junior Macy Browning to score her third goal of the season in the 71st minute.

IWU turns their focus to Saturday as they host No. 2-ranked Spring Arbor. Both teams come into the match tied at the top of the standings with the winner taking home the Crossroads League regular season championship.

  • Jackie Norris found Macy Browning after a great run and found her shot to bounce off the Huntington goalkeeper and into the back of the net in the 71st minute.

  • "This was such a great team win tonight," said Macy Browning. "We've worked so hard to get to this point, taking the season one game at a time. We've put ourselves in such a great position, and that's a testament to the entire team! I'm so proud of the 29! Now, we get back to work tomorrow!"
