MARION, IND. - No. 11 Volleyball bounced back from a loss their last time out, picking up a big win over No. 25 Mount Vernon Nazarene University. This marked the Wildcats third Top 25 win through two weeks of the season. IWU also moves to 1-0 in Crossroads League play.

MATCH VITALS

• Indiana Wesleyan used their home court advantage to fuel a hot start, jumping out to a 7-2 lead and forcing a Mount Vernon timeout. A 9-1 run put the first set out of reach for the Cougars as IWU took the set 25-20.
• In the second set the Wildcats found themselves down 6-3 early, but runs of 9-2 and 6-1 would swing momentum their way as they won the set 25-16 and took a 2-0 lead into the third.
• The teams battled early in the third set as Mount Vernon held an 8-7 lead. Indiana Wesleyan used a 6-0 run to take control and scored the final 10 points in the set to win 25-10 and sweep the Cougars.
• Eva Joldersma (12 kills), Martina Demarchi (9 kills), and Victoria Johnson (9 kills) led a balanced IWU offense.
• Ally Barkhaus excelled serving the ball in the mach, recording 3 aces.
• Danyelle Prado led the way with 34 assists.
• Ally Barkhaus led the Wildcats with 12 digs.
