COLUMBIA, MO. - No. 16 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball split their matches on the second day of the Columbia College Tournament. Momentum carried over from day one for the Wildcats as they took down Lindsey Wilson 3-1 in their first match. IWU would drop their final match of the day, falling 3-1 to No.1 Missouri Baptist.

- Indiana Wesleyan used a 12-5 run to begin the first set, propelling them to a 25-16 victory.
- With the second set tied 20-20, IWU would go on a 5-1 run to take a 2-0 lead into the third set.
- Lindsey Wilson used a late 6-1 run in the third set to force a fourth set.
- Neither team was able to gain separation in the fourth set, but a 6-0 Wildcat run would give IWU the 25-18 victory.
- IWU tallied 59 kills and were led by Eva Joldersma (21), Martina Demarchi (13) and Marta Zambetti (10)
- Wildcats excelled serving the ball in the match recording 13 aces. Led by Demarchi's four and Danyelle Prado's three.
- Prado would also lead the team with 27 assists.
- Indiana Wesleyan recorded 72 digs in the four-set match, Ally Barkhaus would lead the way with 23.
- Missouri Baptist overcame an early 11-7 deficit to take the first set 25-22.
- In the second set IWU would use runs of 7-2 and 5-1 to pull away from the Spartans, winning the set 25-19.
- Indiana Wesleyan held a 13-11 lead in the third set, but the Spartans would use a 14-4 run to end the set.
- IWU fell behind early in the fourth set and were unable to overcome the deficit dropping the set 25-20
- Both teams struggled with errors with the Wildcats totaling 24 and the Spartans totaling 23.
- Eva Joldersma recorded 20 kills in the match to lead the Wildcats.
- Abbi Porter led the team with 28 assists.
- IWU tallied 62 digs in the match with Ally Barkhaus (16), Cadee Notter (13), and Martina Demarchi (13) leading the way.

- The Wildcats will face Aquinas at 5 p.m. and St. Francis (Ill.) at 7:30 p.m. in the Big Dogs Classic Tournament on September 2nd
