No. 13 WOMEN'S SOCCER PUTS SEVEN ON THE BOARD IN WIN OVER TIU

DEERFIELD, Illi.- No. 13 Women's Soccer continued their scoring frenzy Tuesday, netting seven goals in a 7-0 win over Trinity International. Six different Wildcats pushed one past the keeper with Kenzie Millar the only multi-goal scorer for IWU.

 WHAT HAPPENED


 

  • IWU doubled their corner kick total from their first outing, taking eight against TIU. Riley Spoltman scored the game winner 19 minutes into the match, off IWU's first corner of the match.
  • IWU tied a program record with 15 goals to start the season, a record set in 2007.
  • Sydney Stott netted her first carrer goal while Kelsey Beggs claimed IWU's first yellow of the year in the 83rd minute.

  • Today was a good total team effort again. We still have a lot to work on this early in the season, but it is progressing well. We look forward to getting back to work tomorrow.
