JACKSON, Mich. - No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan pitcher
Alyssa Wagner was named Crossroads League Pitcher of the Week for the third time this season. Wagner continues to lead the Wildcats from the mound and went 4-0 last week with a save in five appearances. Wagner continues to create issues for opponents striking out 28 opponents this week. She recorded a 2.80 earned-run averaged and led the Wildcats to claim the Crossroads League regular season championship.

This past week, Wildcats earned their first outright Crossroads League Regular Season title since 2005. This title secures a bid to the NAIA National Championship which starts Opening Round play on May 16-18 at host sites. Before NAIA nationals action, Wildcats will play in the Crossroads League tournament May 4-6. Top seeded Wildcats will face eighth-seeded Spring Arbor on Wednesday, May 4 at 10am. The first day of competition will be played at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana.
