MARION, Ind. - No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan softball split with No. 16 Marian University, taking game one in walk-off fashion.

  • IWU pushed their lead to four through four innings, surrendering no runs to the Knights untill the fifth inning. 
  • The Wildcats tallied three doubles and five stolen bases. Fountain totaled three stolen bases alone. IWU now has 40 doubles on the season and 113 stolen bases.
  • Tragesser pushed across three Wildcats in the bottom of the seventh, giving IWU the game one win. She was the only Wildcats with more than one RBI.

  • IWU was held scoreless until the seventh inning when they pushed across two runs.
  • The red and gray mustered just four hits, their fewest in seven games.
  • The loss snapped IWU's eight-game win streak.
