MARION, Ind. - No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball survived inside Luckey arena Friday, downing No.15 Montreat in a close 80-65 win. The back and forth game was close until the final 10 minutes, when IWU exploded offensively for a 27-9 run to finish the game.

- JaJa Davis was fantastic in the first half, pouring in 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor. He was nearly perfect from deep, shooting 3-of-4. As a squad, they shot 7-of-12 from long range, while IWU was 5-of-12.Â
- The Wildcats led by just two at the break despite leading by as much as 11 at one point. There were three lead changes and four tie scores in the first 20.
- Indiana Wesleyan was ice cold from deep in the second half, shooting 2-of-7. They finished the game shooting 36% from three.Â
- Montreat kept IWU off the glass, holding them to just six offensive boards, their fewest in 14 games.Â
