MARION, Ind. - No. 12 Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball defeated Grace in the Crossroads League Tournament semifinals this evening.  This win ties the longest win streak against the Lancers at 14 games.  Wildcats advance to the Crossroads League Tournament Championship against Marian University for the third year in a row.

WHAT HAPPENED

 

• Grace started the game on an and-one play, before Wildcats responded with a 11-0 run forcing a Lancer timeout and IWU took control of the lead for good.
• Wildcats continued to build in the second quarter heading into the locker room up 29-17.
• Lancers pulled within 13 points late in the third quarter, after stringing together a 9-0 run of their own.
• Ending the third quarter into the fourth, Maddie Lawrence and Lilli Frasure combined for 14 points to stretch the lead to 19. Wildcats won 60-44.
