MARION, Ind. - No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball advanced to the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals Wednesday, cruising to an 18 point win over Taylor University, the No. 8 seed in the tournament. The win extends the Wildcats streak to 24 straight victories over the Trojans, and the third time in five seasons IWU has bounced Taylor from the Crossroads League Tournament.

WHAT HAPPENED

• Indiana Wesleyan opened up the game on a 20-4 run, forcing a Taylor 30-second timeout. Dan Largy poured in seven during the run. TU didn't hit double digits until 12:26 in the first half. 
• The Wildcats built a 14 point lead at the second media timeout in the first half, on 11-for-17 shooting from the floor. 
• IWU was red hot, shooting 60% for the game. 
• Spencer Piercefield dished out nine assists on zero turnovers, one shy from tying his season-high.
