MARION, Ind. - No. 12 Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball finished out the regular season with a 67-51 win over Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Wildcats finished the regular season 25-4 and 14-3 in the Crossroads League.

WHAT HAPPENED

 

• IWU used a 15-0 run in the first half to build a 17-point lead midway through the second quarter. Wildcats defense held MVNU scoreless for 12-minutes and 20-seconds in the first half, with MVNU scoring just five points in the second quarter.
• Cougars came within nine early in the second half but after a Kelli Damman jumper and fast break from Jordan Reid, Wildcats maintained a double digit lead for the remainder of the game ultimately coming away with 67-51 win.
