• "Our #1 player, Maddie Bemisderfer, didn't make the trip with us today as she was battling the flu. Unfortunately, we did not play well today. Grand Valley State is a really good team indoors and we were not up for the challenge. As the first loss of the season, it was hard to swallow, but we will continue to get better."
