MARION, IND. - In their senior recognition night, No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan University women's soccer took the field in rainy conditions against the Huntington University Foresters. The Wildcats dominated the match 3-0 with 28 shots total,  pushing IWU's record to 11-0-1 on the season and 4-0 in League play.

WHAT HAPPENED

• The Wildcats struggled to find the back of the net in the first half, missing on a PK opportunity and an open net opportunity. IWU dominated the pitch posting 11 shots, while HU posted zero. 
• Sydney Brown found the back of the net in the second half, breaking the scoreless drought and put the Wildcats up 1-0. 
• Anna Steven's netted her first career goal as a header off of a corner kick from Mallory Krueger in the 63rd minute, giving IWU some insurance.
• Off an assist by Kristy Bowden, Jackie Norris pushed the Wildcats up three with 20 minutes left in the match. 

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 28: The Wildcats shot a season-high 28 shots with 12 on goal.
• 15: IWU kicked 15 corner kicks, tying their high for the season. 
• 1: How many shots HU mustered

LOOKING FORWARD

• IWU will travel for their next two matches.
• Their next match is  Saturday, October 15, at No. 3 Spring Arbor University with kickoff slated for 7 PM.
• Women's soccer will then travel to the University of Saint Francis on Saturday, October 22 at 7 PM.
