UPLAND, Ind. – No. 21 Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer made the short trip over to Grant County to battle rival Taylor University in a Crossroads League matchup on Saturday night. Freshman Jose Pizarro netted two goals in the second half to lift the Wildcats over the Trojans for the fourth-straight year in a row. IWU improves to 2-1 in league play for 3rd place in the standings.

WHAT HAPPENED

• Both teams were held scorless in the first 45 minutes of action.
• Pizzaro found the back of the net in the 57th minute and secured the victory for IWU with his second of the game 20 minutes later.
• Taylor nearly doubled Indiana Wesleyan with a 16-9 foul count, but the Wildcats were given 4 yellow cards with just 1 for the Trojans.
