MARION, Ind. - It was a historic night inside Luckey Tuesday, as No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball made their 22-straight victory over Taylor University, while also starting the League season 9-0. Only one other time in school history (2010-11) has IWU gone through the first round of League games undefeated.

WHAT HAPPENED

• IWU started off the game on a 14-4 run, shooting 4-of-5 from the field. TU started off the contest 0-for-6, not scoring until 14:35 in the contest. 
• Taylor got to within four in the first half, but a Michael Thompson III spark pushed IWU's lead back to nine forcing a Trojan timeout.
• The Trojans would get within four again in the second half, but a 9-0 run by the Wildcats would push their lead to 13, putting the contest out of reach with 2:43 left.
