HUNTINGTON, Ind. - No. 11 Indiana Wesleyan owned the glass posting 51 rebounds in route to conference win over Huntington University 69-35.

WHAT HAPPENED


 
  • After a Klair Merrell three-pointer to get the Wildcats on the board, Maddie Lawrence rattled off the next nine Wildcat points in the first five minutes of action.
  • Ending the first quarter and midway through the second quarter, Wildcats held the Foresters scoreless for ten minutes. At the break, Wildcats led 31-19.
  • Third quarter Wildcats held a 17-5 advantage building the lead to 24 points.
  • Ending the game, IWU continued to clean up the glasses claiming 15 boards of their own in the fourth quarter leading to a 69-35 win.
