LATE SURGE PROPELS WILDCATS TO VICTORY

MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer defeated Concordia-University Ann Arbor 2-0 in a non-conference matchup this evening. This win brings the Wildcats to 3-2 on the young season.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
  • After a scoreless first half, IWU built momentum with a goal by Philipp Basara at the 66-minute mark.
  • At the 73-minute mark, Concordia received a red card going down a man for the rest of the game.
  • IWU capitalized on this opportunity quickly as Winter Casseus found the back of the net two minutes later.
  • Nathan Sharrett collected his first shutout on the season.
