MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer team strong second half propelled them to a 4-1 victory in non-conference matchup with IU-East this evening. This marks the third time these two teams have met up in school history with IWU leading the matchup 2-1.
 
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

• Six minutes into the contest Winter Casseus scored the first goal for IWU.
• Minutes later, IU-East connected on a goal to tie the game 1-1. The rest of the half remained scoreless.
• Second half proved to be much different for the Wildcats as they knocked in three goals, one a piece from Garrett Troupe, Euwin Stevens, and Parker Stewart.
• Jonas Bercari posted three assists on the night.

 
REEB REMARKS

• "Another game and another similar story, as we had to turn up the pressure in the second half. Even though we didn't perform well in the first half, we began to capitalize in the 2nd half and our depth played a big role in that. We have a lot of guys that came off the bench and contributed to our success tonight."
