MARION, Ind. - No. 16 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball defeated No. 22 Bethel University 3-1 this afternoon. IWU avenges a 3-0 loss to the Pilots on September 1, 2021. Today's matchup was a battle point for point as the majority of the match was within a five-point spread outside of one spread of seven points in the fourth set.
 
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
WIN 3-1: 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-20

• IWU collected 55 kills on the match. Spread out attack led by Martina Demarchi with 14 kills. Macy Puthoff and Cassie Gregory recorded career-bests 11 kills a piece.
• Victoria Johnson posted solid numbers at the net collecting four blocks and nine kills.
• Olivia Zawadzki recorded 48 assists. 
• Both teams collected 64 digs on the match. Paige Thibault led the way for the Wildcats with 27 digs, tying her career-best.
• Despite collecting 55 kills, the Wildcats and Pilots both struggled on the attack with IWU leading with kill percentage 0.184 to Bethel's 0.135.
