MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan men's and women's track wrapped up a weekend slate sending individuals to the Indiana Tech Invite and the Drake Relays. IWU totaled 26, Top-10 finishes, two NAIA A standards and one NAIA B standard. No team score was calculated for either event.Â
The weekend was highlighted by
Chris Maxon, who set a new school record in the 10,000m at the Drake Relays.Â
SNYDER PERSPECTIVE
- As we get closer to the League Championships, it was great to see some things start to come together for some people on the team. We still have a lot to work on but these next 2 weeks will hopefully allow us to fine tune everything we've been doing. I'm looking forward to seeing the pieces come together for both teams.
TOP - 10 FINISHES (*NAIA A STANDARD / ^NAIA B STANDARD)
DRAKE RELAYS FINISHES
COACH FOSS ON CHIRS
- Chris ran smooth, fast, and under control. When the pack of three emerging elite athletes pulled away in the 9th K, Chris kept his rhythm and destroyed our program record. It was a fun race to watch.
NEXT TIME OUT
- IWU will head to Winona Lake, Warsaw on April 30th for their final regular-season meet before the Crossroads League Championship on May 6-7.
