MARION, Ind. - No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball knocked off Georgetown College (Ky.) by a 3-0 score Saturday in the opening round of the 41^st Annual Volleyball National Championship. IWU won by scores of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-19.

INSIDE THE BOX

• The Wildcats hit .273 in each of the first two frames and .170 in the fall stanza, recording a .227 attack percentage overall.
• IWU held the opposition to a .035 attack percentage for the match, including a -.034 effort in the first set.
• The Wildcats had 47 kills to 23 by the visitors.
• Marci Miller slammed down a match-best 15 kills while hitting .400. Ana Collar accounted for a double-double with 13 kills and 10 digs. Martina Demarchi also had a double-double with 10 kills and 16 digs.
• Olivia Zawadski dished out 42 assists and narrowly missed a double-double with eight digs.
• Defensively, Havyn Gates garnered 17 digs.
• The team combined for 10 block assists, including three from Macy Puthoff. Allison Sparrow and Zawadski had two apiece.
