TRACK & FIELD HOSTS POLAR BEAR, OPENS OUTDOOR WITH TWO NAIA A STANDARDS

MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan track and field kicked off their outdoor season Saturday, hosting the 2021 Polar Bear Invite. The Wildcats took home two NAIA A standards, four NAIA B standards, and 17 Top-3 finishes.

SNYDER PERSPECTIVE

It's been almost two years since we've had a full meet on our track so it was so fun to finally compete outdoors again. On top of that, a handful of sophomores on our team never got a chance to do their primary event last year, because we didn't have an outdoor season, so seeing them finally compete in those was special. We were blessed with almost perfect weather, a great atmosphere, and the meet had very strong competition. Our teams picked up where they left off in indoor and I'm confident we're heading in a great direction. We still have a lot to work on but I'm seeing some fun things in a lot of places. I'm looking forward to the rest of this season. We are thankful.

NEXT TIME OUT

IWU will participate in the George Glass Invite Saturday, April 3, on the campus of Taylor University.
