MAGICAL MARCH ENDS IN NAIA SEMIFINALS FOR WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Box Score SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The magical March run came to an end Monday night for Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball, as the Wildcats fell in the NAIA National Championship Semifinals to Warriors of Westmont College, 74-65.

The Wildcats will finish the season, 25-7 and 32-15 all-time in the NAIA tournament.

Leading by as much 14, IWU cut the lead to ten heading into the half, after back-to-back threes by Kelli Damman.
Westmont won the battle at the charity stripe, shooting 9-for-9 while IWU shot 1-for-1. IWU totaled 11 fouls while Westmont surrendered just six.
Both teams were cold from long in the first half, shooting a combined 6-for-25, with both teams making three.
The war on the boards favored the Warriors, 17-10 at the half.
The Wildcats went on a 15-7 run, cutting the Warriors lead to five with 6:46 left in the contest.
