No. 19 @IWU_WBB EXPLODES FROM DEEP, TOPS LANCERS BY 20

WINONA LAKE, Ind. - No. 19 Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball was red hot from downtown Saturday, topping the Lancers of Grace College, 79-58 for IWU's 17th win of the seson. 


Indiana Wesleyan poured in a season-high of 17 threes in the contest, their most in a game since December 22, 2018 when they also made 17.

  • IWU put up 31 points in the first quarter that included three triples by Madison Davis and 12 points by Anne Secrest.
  • IWU led by ten at the half, with Anne Secrest scoring 18 of the Wildcats 47 points. As a squad, Indiana Wesleyan shot 17-of-32 from the field for 53%, with 16 of their 17 shots coming assisted.
  • The Wildcats dished out a season-high 26 assists on 30 made shots while coughing it up just 12 times. 
  • IWU went to the charity stripe just two times in the contest.
