MARION, Ind. - No. 20 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball topped RV Taylor this evening in four sets in the Crossroads League semifinals. These two teams split the regular season matchups with Taylor victorious in five sets on September 18 and IWU on October 20 in three sets. This win sends Wildcats to the Crossroads League tournament championship game for the third-straight year.
 
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

• Set one saw both teams struggle from the service line with both teams posting four service errors.
• Second set momentum shifted to the Trojans they connected on 18 kills hitting their best kill percentage of the night.
• Set three saw an 8-3 Wildcat run in the middle of the set while posting a .480 kill percentage to Trojans .029 in the set.
• Wildcats posted 16 kills in the fourth set leading the team to an overall .396 hitting percentage.

 
INSIDE THE BOX

• Wildcats posted a season-high 60 kills on the match. Ana Collar recorded 15, Martina Demarchi with 13, and Victoria Johnson with 11 kills.
• Olivia Zawadzki spread the offense collecting 50 assists.
• On the defensive end, Collar collected 19 digs, Ally Barkhaus with 14, and Paige Thibault with 11.
• Demarchi collected a career-best four blocks.

• "Tonight, was a big-time collegiate match! The atmosphere was electric! Congrats to both teams for such an amazing performance! Ana Collar was the difference maker with 15 kills, 19 digs and a hitting percentage of .419! As a team our offense could not be stopped hitting collectively at .398 in the match! THE TOURNAMENT CONTINUES

• Wildcats will head to the Crossroads League Tournament championship against No. 7 Marian University with an evening matchup. Game time will be released tomorrow.
