WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer advanced to the Crossroads League championship on a 4-3 decision in shootouts. After dropping the regular season matchup with the Lancers 4-1, Wildcats and Lancers came to a 0-0 draw after double overtime. This is the team's eighth overtime matchup on the season, and fourth game that ended in a draw.
 
GAME INSIGHTS

• Wildcats were out powered on the offensive end of the ball with Lancers outshooting Wildcats 18-7.
• Both teams were aggressive each collecting 12 fouls.
• Aaron Carr had another outstanding night in the net for the Wildcats posting five saves. In the shootout, Carr posted three crucial saves which moved the Wildcats to a 4-3 victory.

• Wildcats will travel to Bethel University for the Crossroads League Championship on Saturday. Game time will be announced tomorrow. The winner of the tournament will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA National tournament.
