Box Score MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan women’s basketball completed the season sweep over Goshen Saturday, winning 75-40. The Wildcats now have 11 wins this season of 20 or more points. IWU moves to 19-7 on the season and 10-4 in Crossroads League play.
Dayton Groninger poured in a game-high 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting.
INSIDE THE BOX
- IWU built their lead in the first half, shooting 19-of-29 from the field and 6-of-9 from deep for 65% shooting. Indiana Wesleyan smothered the Maple Leafs on the defensive side allowing just six made buckets in the first 20 minutes of the game.
- IWU forced 11 turnovers in the first half, scoring 17 points off of them. The Wildcats owned the paint scoring 26 points in the first half, while allowing just ten paint points. IWU finished the game with 39 paint points and 18 bench points.
- The Wildcats committed a season-low eight turnovers in the contest, besting their previous mark of 11.
