INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –  Indiana Wesleyan women’s basketball struggled to score the ball Friday, falling 77-39 to the Knights of Marian University in the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals.

INSIDE THE BOX

• IWU was ice cold in the first half, shooting 22% making just five shots. The Knights turned up the heat on the defensive side, forcing 12 Wildcat turnovers in the first half and 12 in the second half.
• The Wildcats started to heat up in the third quarter, shooting 57% from the floor and 66% from deep. Despite cutting the Knight’s lead to 11, the Knights extended their lead to 23 finishing the third quarter on a 16-4 run.
•  The Wildcats recorded their lowest scoring output of the season, while Goodwin finished the game with a Wildcat best 11 points. Goodwin was the only Wildcat to finish in double figures.

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Wildcats will wait and see if they receive an at-large bid to the NAIA National Championship.
