Box Score UPLAND, Ind. – No. 17 Indiana Wesleyan women’s basketball went stone cold in the final ten minutes Saturday, scoring just nine points. No. 7 Taylor ended the game on a 23-9 run, downing the Wildcats, 62-49.
INSIDE THE BOX
- Both squads knocked down seven threes in the first half, with TU shooting 7-of-16 and IWU shooting 7-of-18.
- No team shot a free throw in the first half while Indiana Wesleyan and Taylor each grabbed 17 rebounds. Seven of Taylor’s rebounds came as offensive rebounds.
- Despite leading by two at the half, Taylor shot 31% from the floor, making just ten shots. IWU wasn’t much better shooting 39%, shooting 9-of-23 from the floor.
- IWU’s starting five mustered just 21 total points while the IWU bench scored the other 28 points.
