MARION, Ind. – #21 Indiana Wesleyan women’s basketball played tremendous defense to defeat the RV Spring Arbor Cougars 46-43 on Saturday afternoon in Luckey Arena.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Indiana Wesleyan scored a season-low in the first half with 19 points but held a four-point advantage after 20 minutes of play.
• Carly Lange paced all scorers in the first half with eight points.  
• The Wildcats forced 19 turnovers including seven steals in the game.
• Madison Davis and Lange paced IWU with 12 points each.
• Lange also added seven rebounds in the victory.

SENIOR SEND-OFF

• IWU celebrated senior day Saturday, honoring Jene'e Goodwin, Elaina Ededuwa, Carly Lange, and Stephanie Conrad for their service to Wildcat hoops.
• The quartet has collected 86 wins in their time while helping the Wildcats to three NAIA National Championship appearances.
• In their time with the Wildcats, they posted decade highs in points scored in a season, three-pointers made, offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, total rebounds, offensive rebounds per game, and blocks per game. 

1,000 CAREER POINTS COUNTDOWN

• Dayton Groninger sits just 19 points away from 1,000 career points.
• Groninger would become the 30th Wildcat in program history to achieve the milestone and the first since Nicole Ignasiak collected her 1,000th career point last season.

THE LEAGUE

• With just two regular-season games left, IWU sits in fourth place of the Crossroads League. IWU holds a two-game advantage over Grace while trailing second-place squads Taylor and Saint Francis by one-game.
• If the season ended today, Bethel and Goshen would not make the Crossroads League Tournament.

NEXT TIME OUT

• IWU hosts Grace on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 7:00 p.m.
