INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan women’s basketball dropped just their second game in 2020 Saturday, falling 81-50 to Marian University. The Knights used a 43-19 run to build their lead while shooting 44% in the contest. They shot 57% in the second half.

INSIDE THE BOX

• IWU took the first quarter, 18-17 on the back of four made threes. The Wildcats shot 4-of-7 from deep, while the Knights shot 1-of-5.
• IWU trailed 34-26 at the half after poor shooting performance in the second quarter. The Wildcats shot 8-of-28 from the floor while MU shot 11-of-31. MU used a 17-5 run to build their lead at the half.
• Dayton Groninger finished the game as the lone Wildcat in double figures with 19. Anne Secrest led the way with 11 rebounds in the contest while adding seven points.

• IWU hosts No. 11, Saint Francis, on Wednesday, February 5th at 7 p.m.
