MARION, Ind. –  Indiana Wesleyan Women's Basketball moved to 3-0 Tuesday, defeating Madonna University 84-46. Both teams were evenly matched through quarter one, but a 16-point first-half performance by Anne Secrest and three made baskets from deep by Kelli Damman, built a ten point lead at the half.

INSIDE THE BOX

• IWU outscored MU 22-14 in the second quarter and 18-2 in the third quarter.
• The red and gray knocked down 60% of their attempts from deep in the first half. They finished the first 20-minutes of the contest 12-of-29 from the field.
• Anne Secrest collected her fourth career double-double while tying her career-high, notching 28 points while collecting ten rebounds. Her previous high of 28 was achieved with 8:41 left in the fourth quarter. 
• The Wildcats edged the Crusaders 35-31 in the rebounding category, while IWU dished out 19 assists to their seven.
