MARION, Ind. –  Indiana Wesleyan Volleyball defeated Saint Francis in four sets on Thursday night in Luckey Arena to advance to the Crossroads League Tournament Championship match.

IWU will face Marian on Saturday in a rematch of last years championship match, which the Wildcats got the better of the Knights in five sets, winning the 14th Crossroads League Tournament Championship under direction of Candace Moats. 


INSIDE THE BOX

• Martina Demarchi played a huge role in the win for the Wildcats collecting a career high16 kills and 14 digs. 
• Also collecting double-digit kills was Marci Miller with 11.
• Rachel Klitzing had three solo blocks and six block assists to go along with six kills. 
• Ana Collar recorded 14 digs and added nine kills.
• Manning the setter position was Olivia Zawadzki who finished with 41 assists, five blocks and two aces.

MOATS PERSPECTIVE

• I am so proud of the fight in our team. The girls came out and played together. 
• The leadership from Havyn Gates and Ana Collar kept our back row together and we were able to excel. 
• I am thankful for the opportunity for us to play another game on Saturday. 

NEXT TIME OUT

• Indiana Wesleyan will host Marian on Saturday for the Crossroads League Tournament Championship with the match set to start at 3:00 p.m.
