MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer fell short Saturday night, losing at home, 1-0 to the Cougars of Mount Vernon Nazarene. The physical match featured 33 fouls and seven yellow cards and one red card.

• Giuseppe Santacroce led IWU with five shots while Zack Hargreaves, Malik Ibrahim, and Philipp Basara contributed four. 
• Jared Mount led MVNU with four shots, landing them all on frame.
• The Cougars Joshua Orecchio netted the lone goal, his second of the season.

• IWU will play three matches this week, first starting with Grace at home on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. start.
• The Wildcats will head on the road Thursday for a 7 p.m. start at Spring Arbor. 
• IWU will finish off the week with a home match Saturday against Saint Francis at 7 p.m.
