Box Score MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan men’s basketball stretched their win streak to ten Saturday, downing No. 11 Bethel 97-84. The Wildcats forced 15 turnovers in the contest while holding Bethel to just eight made threes, three shy of their season average.
INSIDE THE BOX
- Canaan Coffey collected his 1,000th career point in the second half, knocking down a triple at the 12:17 mark. Coffey is known as a three-point specialist, knocking down 41% of his shots from deep. Coffey finished the game with nine points, all coming in the second half.
- On the season, the Wildcats have nine Top-25 wins, including six in Crossroads League play.
- IWU shot 20 free throws in the second half, 13 more than they did in the first half. The Wildcats finished the game, 18-of-27 from the line.
- Kyle Mangas finished with 33 points, marking the sixth time this season he has gone for 30 or more. Mangas tallied 72 total points against the Pilots this season while adding ten rebounds and eight assists. Mangas finished 13-of-19 from the floor tonight, his second 13-and-19 game of the season.
- Seth Maxwell collected his sixth double-double of the season, grabbing ten boards while dropping 13 points.
- With the victory and some help from Grace, IWU sits in first place with a two-game lead. Marian sits in second place all alone, while Bethel, Mt. Vernon, Saint Francis, and Grace all sit in third place. If the season ended today, Huntington and Goshen would not make the League Tournament.

- IWU looks to get even, hosting No. 6 Mount Vernon Nazarene on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
- MVNU got the best of the Wildcats, handing IWU their lone League loss of the season on November 26, 74-62.
- The Cougars are led by Jevon Knox who clipped the Wildcats for 25 points in their first meeting. Knox and Austin Jones both finished the game with a double-double.
