Box Score INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – No. 22 Indiana Wesleyan women’s basketball struggled to score Friday, falling 68-51 to No. 6 Marian University in the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals. Indiana Wesleyan shot 33% from the field on 16-of-48 shooting, their second-worst shooting performance of the season. Despite the struggle, IWU shot 92% from the free throw line, their best percentage of the season.
COSTLY TURNOVERS
- Marian University capitalized on the Wildcat’s turnovers, scoring 23 total points off turnovers while IWU mustard just 11. IWU turned the ball over a total of 14 times in the contest while MU committed 11.
OUTREBOUNDED
- For just the fourth time all season, the Wildcats failed to outrebound their opponent. Marian pulled down seven more boards than IWU for a total of 35, while IWU grabbed a season-low 28 rebounds. IWU has outrebounded its opponents over the course of the season 1334 to 986.
