Box Score MARION, Ind. – In their final home game of the season, Indiana Wesleyan football fell 33-21 to #2 Marian University. The Knights started the game off with 17 unanswered points before the Wildcats scored touchdowns in the second, third, and fourth quarters. IWU would give it one last-ditch effort, but a fumble would lead to six points for the Knights with time expiring.
INSIDE THE BOX
- It was a busy day for Cameron Lauck, who sat a new career-high in tackles with 16. Josh Davidson was second for IWU with 14, followed by Adam Schantz who added ten.
- Special teams had a field day with both Ben VonGunten firing off five punts and Marian’s Luke Frain firing off six. VonGunten edged Frain, averaging 35.8 yards per-punt while Frain averaged 27.3.
- Indiana Wesleyan cut the Marian lead to ten with a blocked punt returned for a touchdown to end the half. Josh Fusco broke through the Marian line for the block, while Justin Johnson scooped it up for the score.
- IWU finished the season, 4-1 at home bringing their all-time record at home to 8-2. With a win next week, IWU would match their record from a season ago.

- IWU concludes their season on the road at #14 Concordia (Mich.).
- This is the second meeting between clubs with Concordia winning last year 55-7. That game was also played in Ann Arbor.
